On January 31, Larry Sand participated in a podcast with PRI’s Lance Izumi about opportunities to expand school choice in California despite recent legislative setbacks last year targeting charter schools. Also in January, and in conjunction with the California Policy Center, erected several billboards in Los Angeles in January, which let teachers know they no longer had to pay the union as a condition of employment.
